Nopparat Thara Plaza
As the name suggested, it is located in the Nopparat Thara Road, after the Halal Food Street if you're coming from Aonang Beach. We discovered this place on our walk after brunch/lunch at Halal Food Street.
I am not sure if the place wasn't too lively because of the poor weather or if that's how it is normally. Online search suggested that the place should be more popular but it was almost deserted when we visited.
There was a money changer, some convenience stores, branded outlets, spas, little kiosks, cafes and eateries, and souvenir shops. Mostly closed.
My friend wanted to buy a souvenir but we had to wait for a while for someone to show up. And that someone wasn't even the shop owner.
Considering that the hotels on this side is quite far from the hustle and bustle of Aonang Beach, this place should be more 'happening' but maybe it was the poor weather.
If you happen to be in the area, do visit. It's a nice place to take pictures and there are some pretty souvenirs you might be interested in. There is also a halal eatery in the plaza.
