This is a Thai seafood restaurant but they also serve some chicken and such. The restaurant have ample parking space and used to be a popular venue for wedding reception. 

When I arrived, it looked deserted. But actually there were several patrons already inside. The main restaurant is the building on the left. Just try the door even if they appear to be closed. Seriously.

Food Foundry is known for their mille crepes. So when a girlfriend suggested we get our lunch there, I agreed.

A few years back, they had a reputation for serving mediocre food and poor service. I'm happy to report that my visit was a pleasant one. In fact, the place was packed with other customers so I guess they have improved a lot. No sign of bad temper waitress anywhere.

Their unique location has been mentioned by many others. You can find them on the ground floor of flat block, along with a couple other famous restaurants/cafes. Finding a parking spot can be a challenge.

Khareyana Spa is a popular venue for small events like launch party and bachelorette party so be sure to call ahead and book your appointment to avoid disappointment. This is the kind of spa that is best to visit with a group of friends.

I tried their face massage and cream bath/scalp treatment and I love both! My girlfriends took their massage package and they said it was divine. I'll try that next time and let you know :)

My treatment started with a face massage here. The nice therapist cleaned my face, then applied scrub before gently massaging. It was relaxing and my face felt soft and clean afterwards.

Then, it was time for hair cream bath. The therapist asked if I wanted avocado or aloe vera mask and I couldn't make a decision. So she mixed them both and the result was heavenly! My hair smelled so nice for days!

After treatment, we were served tea and some biscuits. The staff were all friendly and welcoming and they didn't rush us at all.

Menu was all over the place and so since it was my first time here, it took me some time to order. I settled with cream based oreo blended.

I can't remember the price and the receipt was taken back by another staff who prepared our orders. Total was about RM70+ for 4 pax. Only drinks and 2 slices of cakes.

They have plenty of seatings but I imagine that it will be cramped if all those seats are filled. Not the most comfortable place for hangout la.

I can't believe I haven't shared this with you!

Mum's Place is one of my favourite restaurant in Damansara. This place used to be so packed, you better have reservation or risk having to wait for a table. 

When I returned recently for lunch with my bffs from primary school, I was surprised to find the place so much less busy than I remembered. Good thing food was still delicious!

They serve halal Malaysian food and so you can find Malay, Nyonya, Portuguese, Chinese and Indian dishes. Typical dishes that Malaysian mums cook at home. Check out their menu here.

Note: Food is halal (Malay owner) but there's beer in the drinks menu to cater to the non-Muslims

Rimba & Rusa by Wondermilk, Sunway Nexis

I am a fan of Wondermilk. Specifically their vanilla cupcakes. So when Rimba & Rusa opened (not so recently), I've been wanting to drop by and check it out myself. The restaurant is situated at Sunway Nexis in Kota Damansara. It's the building next to Sunway Giza. From The Curve, turn right (towards Giant Kota Damansara) and take the first left. Find parking as Rimba & Rusa is on your left.

Taste - Good

Price - Dear to some but fair to me. RM49 for 2 pax. Cups of water are free.

Ambiance - Love the decor and high ceiling! Homey and reminded me of a perfect, sunny Sunday morning.

Well it's a plate of fries with parmesan (RM12). What do you expect? <3<3<3

Price reference. Since the food was delicious, I consider the price as fair.

Menu consisted of western & local dishes with delightful twists. Took me quite some time to decide on what to eat since I am a picky and unadventurous eater.

It's family-friendly and if you want some privacy you can always climb upstairs. Good place for a get-together with friends but don't rely on their desserts. Cupcakes were out of stock when I visited :(
