Muzium Sarawak or the Sarawak Museum consists of a few buildings housing the natural history museum, art museum, and the ethnology museum. There is a modest aquarium within the complex and the Sarawak Islamic Museum is just across the main road. Expect to spend half a day in this area if you have curious kids or you're a museum buff yourself.
You can get Waze to point you towards the museum. Alternatively, head towards Plaza Merdeka, look for the Merdeka Palace Hotel & Suites. It's right next door.

Upstairs was the exhibition on local people. Good introduction before you go visit the real long houses and all.
Once you're done on this side, follow the signboard to Muzium Islam Sarawak across the road.
