Copthorne Hotel Cameron Highland offers hotel rooms and apartment-type lodging. I chose Deluxe room which is situated in the main building. The apartments are in separate buildings around the main building (which also housed the lobby). If you're staying in the main building, you'll find the entrance to parking before the lobby. The apartments have parking spots under the blocks.

Finding the hotel is easy but you might miss the turning due to busy road. If you come from Simpang Pulai, it is just after the Butterfly Park; if you're from Tanah Rata, it is next to the Kea Farm market. Journey to the hotel from Penang International Airport is about three and a half hours. If you come from Kuala Lumpur, it should take between 10 to 30 minutes extra.

Booking - Easy. I booked directly from their website. You can also choose the usual websites like Agoda and Booking.com

Rate - Average. Less than RM500 for 2 night in Deluxe (1 King bed) room

Location - Very Good. There's usually a bit of traffic at the junction to the hotel BUT it is within walking distance to several attractions like Raju's Hill Strawberry Farm (good scones and waffle), BOH Tea Centre Sungai Palas, Butterfly Park and Kea Farm Market. There are also several restaurants and massage parlour nearby.

Dining - Did not try

Service - Average. Check-in and check-out took some time. The housekeepers took away towels and did not replace them so we have to call for towels. Took 3 calls before they arrived, over half an hour later.

Is it value for money? Probably not.
Is it worth paying the extra ringgit? Yes. Wake up early and be among the first to reach many of Cameron Highlands' more popular attractions like the BOH Tea Centre and Lavender Farm. You'll be done by the time the crowd arrives and you can drive down to Brinchang and Tanah Rata to visit other places.

The hotel also offers affordable guided tours:
