An Char Koay Teow
Situated in front of a block of shops, the An Char Koay Teow operated from 10 pm onwards. You should be able to find it at the end of a row of mobile stalls, nearest to a temple. Check out the map below.
Rumoured to be one of the best char kuey teow/kuetiau/koew teow/... I gotta give it a try. However, since it opens late I was already full and tarpao it instead.

So is the rumour true? Is it the BEST char kuetiau in town?
Personally, it is one of the best I've ever tasted. I'm not even a fan of char kuetiau but I LOVE this one.

Now you have a good reason to be in Penang as early as Friday evening for a weekend getaway. That way you'll get to eat this delicious char kuetiau twice!
Psssstt! Sempat kalau nak gerak pi Penang lepas kerja ni. You'd arrive just in time for the kuetiau ;)
